EsoTier: Building the Infrastructure the Esoteric Industry Has Been Missing

The esoteric industry runs on $376 billion in global spiritual services revenue. In the US alone, IBISWorld counts 103,340 psychic and esoteric businesses. Nebula does $50 million ARR. AstroTalk does $140 million ARR in India.

And the professional astrologer in Portland is still chasing her clients for birth times via email. The tarot reader in Berlin is logging sessions in a notebook. The numerologist with 300 subscribers is copy-pasting between three tools that do not talk to each other.

This is what happens when an industry grows to $376 billion without anyone building the infrastructure layer.

Why we are building this

Not because we have a passion project. Not because astrology is trending. Because the infrastructure does not exist, the industry is large enough to need it, and someone has to build it.

The esoteric industry has a specific data problem. A client's birth date, exact time, and birthplace are primary professional data - as important to an astrologer as a patient's medical history is to a doctor. But no booking tool captures this as structured data. No mainstream CRM has a natal chart section. The practitioner collects birth data in whatever free-text field they can configure, then manually transfers it into calculation software, then manually formats the output into a deliverable, then manually sends it.

Every step is manual. None of it is specific to the work.

We are building the platform that fixes this.

What EsoTier is

EsoTier is B2B infrastructure for esoteric businesses. Three layers:

Wiki. A structured knowledge base of tools, comparisons, and guides for practitioners navigating the current software landscape. The articles you find here are written to be actually useful - real tool comparisons with real pricing, honest about gaps, specific about workflows. Start with what is EsoTech if you want the category context.

Store. Vetted tools and products for esoteric practice. Widgets, templates, automations, and software that practitioners have evaluated and use. Not an affiliate link dump - a curated directory with practitioner-specific context. Browse the store.

Intelligence. Research and analysis on where the esoteric industry's technology is heading. Market data, tool comparisons, emerging category maps. For practitioners building businesses that will still be running in five years.

Who needs this

The tarot reader with 20 paying clients per month who spends 3 hours on admin for every hour of actual reading work. The astrologer on a Mac who has no good native software because the professional tools are Windows-only. The numerologist who has built a following but cannot convert them to paying clients because the booking and delivery workflow is too fragmented.

The esoteric school owner with 50 students and a waitlist, managing everything in Notion and DMs. The Human Design practitioner who wants to automate report delivery but cannot find a tool that understands chart data.

These are not niche problems. They are standard problems for anyone running a professional esoteric practice today.

What we are not

We are not a consumer astrology app. We are not competing with Co-Star, Nebula, or AstroTalk for end-user attention. We are not building an AI that gives readings.

We are the infrastructure layer that practitioners use to build and run their businesses. The tools, the knowledge, and the marketplace - not the readings themselves.

A direct statement

EsoTier is the first EsoTech platform. We coined the term EsoTech deliberately - by analogy with FinTech and EdTech - because the category did not have a name, and unnamed categories do not get built.

The esoteric industry needs a technology layer the same way financial services needed FinTech and education needed EdTech. Specialized infrastructure. Data models that fit the work. Tools built for what practitioners actually do, not tools built for hair salons with an esoteric color scheme on the landing page.

We are building that. The wiki is live. The store is building. The intelligence layer is in development.

If you are an esoteric business owner, practitioner, or tool builder working in this space: the store is where to start. For the full context on the category we are building, read what is EsoTech. For a comparison of where the software landscape stands today, see best astrology software 2026.

The infrastructure gap is real. We are filling it.
